The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) was founded in the wake of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Osama bin Laden, in a public letter following the attacks, made clear that his motives were significantly anti-Jewish and anti-Zionist (as was the first “failed” attack on the WTC in February 1993).

Since that seminal event, there have been numerous instances where terrorist organizations from abroad have inspired threats targeting Jewish communal institutions at home. I have been chronically these events for decades in support of NSGP advocacy and application drafting. Al Qaeda, ISIS, Iran, Hezbollah, and others have all been implicated.
