Two days ago, the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission (a body established by the House of Representatives to promote, defend and advocate for international human rights (replaced the House Human Rights Caucus in 2008)), held a hearing on Worldwide Persecution of Jews. The hearing was held in recognition of “the dramatic spike in many indexes of antisemitism [ ] seen after October 2023,” including in the United States.
