This morning, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held a hearing on the President’s Fiscal Year 2026 Department of Homeland Security Budget Request. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem testified. The hearing occurred despite the continued delay in Congress receiving the President’s detailed Budget request for the upcoming fiscal year that commences October 1st.
